Steve "One Tee" Mathews was the person responsible for the commencement and ongoing growth of the group now referred to as "TOTTs On Tour"
The group commenced as a collection of caravaners who agreed to meet at Maroochydore at a given time during the Winter escape from Sandhurst.
The group was joined by 2 adventurers, Leigh Cousins and Tony Keogh, who flew in for the weeks activities.
The focus was on golf for 2 days interspersed with many social activities to enjoy the friendship and camaraderie of the men and ladies in attendance.
Steve initially coordinated the complete event from dates, costs, golf, dinners, welcome and farewell drinks. From this small beginning the group has annually grown to now require a committee to do what Steve did single handed.
The legacy left by Steve will continue for ever and the group can never thank him enough for what he started and nurtured.
The trophy has been made to commemorate Steves achievements and from 2021 onwards, will be presented to the individual winner of the stableford competition over 2 days. The competition is open to all and as encouraged by Steve welcomes all and discourages no-one from entering or just attending.
