Vale Peter Maher
1954 - 2021
Peter or 'Spacer' as he was affectionately known, was an active Platinum member for 16 years.
He was Club Captain in 2012 and volunteered numerous hours to the Golf Committee from 2010 to 2012 and then again in 2019 prior to resigning due to his illness.
Peter battled with illness for the past year and fought hard to the end.
Peter’s history includes association with Essendon FC (The Essendonians), Springvale FC as a player and Committeeman.
With Max Findlay, Frank Artufel and others they made annual trips to the Warrnambool Cup Carnival.
We will miss you Spacer, far too young to be leaving us but you will be forever remembered.
Peter is survived by his loving wife Meg and their two children Jenny and Belinda and their families.
